A woman is dead and a child and another woman are injured after a shooting in Wilmington, DE on Monday afternoon. It happened just before 2 p.m. on the 400 block of W. 7th Street. A 25-year-old woman was found with gunshot wounds to her upper torso. She died at the scene. A 4-year-old child was taken to the hospital by officers with a gunshot to the legs. SEPTA has announced another lottery for transit passes for the weekend of the Papal Visit in September. This lottery will be for Special 3 Day passes on the Norristown High Speed Line and Routes 101 and 102 trolley lines. The $10 pass will be good for Saturday – Monday September 26-28th. You will choose one of 6 outlying stations. Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman announced charges today against Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane. The charges come after a lengthly investigation by the Montgomery County District Attorney's office after a grand jury recommended charges against the state's top prosecutor back in January. A Willow Grove, Montgomery County man was found guilty in the 2013 murder of a South Jersey man who was responding to an ATV for sale ad on Craigslist in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia. 25-year-old Thomas Coffee was found guilty by jury in the June 2013 shooting death of 27-year-old Daniel Cook of Williamstown and was immediately sentenced to life without parole.
