New Jersey State Police are searching for a Cumberland County man wanted for killing his estranged wife. Police say that 32-year-old Jeremiah Monell killed 36-year-old Tara O'Shea in her home on Raymond Drive in Commercial Township. Police responded to the home at 8 a.m. Monday morning to find the woman dead. He had apparently slit her throat in front of her 12-year-old son. A Montgomery County pediatrician who was arrested last month on child pornography charges has died in jail. 48-year-old David Kennedy of Pennsburg was found dead in Montgomery County Corrections Facility on Sunday. Kennedy was arrested on November 30th and charged with with five counts of Sexual Abuse of Children and Criminal Use of a Communications Facility. Montgomery County authorities have arrested the nephew of a woman stabbed to death on Friday in Conshohocken. 28-year-old Matthew Wertz is charged with first-degree murder and related charges. Wertz had just been released from jail and had been staying with his aunt. Police were called to the 900 block of Hallowell Street for the report of a disturbance at 5:14 a.m. on Friday. A Pennsylvania mother pled guilty today to throwing her 20-month-old son off a bridge and into a river. 21-year-old Johnesha Perry told the Lehigh County Judge, "I dropped him, yes, because I wanted to die with him and go to heaven." Judge Kelly Banach sentenced Perry to 20 to 40 years in state prison on the third-degree murder charge. One man has been arrested and another sought in connection to a robbery of an elderly woman at Parx Casino earlier this week.
