Garrett Reid, the son of Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid, died of a heroin overdose on August 5th. The Northhampton County coroner announced in a press conference Thursday afternoon that the 29-year-old's cause of death was "acute opiate (heroin) toxicity" and stated that the "manner of death is classified as accidental."

The teenage girl who was mocked and ridiculed in front class by her geometry teacher for wearing a Romney-Ryan t-shirt returned to Charles Carol High School today. Jerry Sandusky has spoken out on the eve of his sentencing hearing despite not taking the stand in his defense at trial and having the opportunity to do so tomorrow. Sandusky will be sentenced tomorrow on the 45 guilty counts related to the child sex abuse case that has riled State College. Police have released the identity of the one man arrested in connection to Sunday's early morning wedding brawl at the Sheraton hotel bar in Society Hill. 26-year-old Matthew Sofka, of Westfield, New Jersey (pictured below), has been charged with assault on police, inciting a riot and related offenses for his alleged role in the brawl.
