The Lancaster County District Attorney's office announced on Saturday afternoon, 7/11, that they have charged a Paradise Township man with kidnapping in the disappearance of an 18-year-old Amish woman last month. 34-year-old Justo Smoker was charged with felony kidnapping and misdemeanor false imprisonment of Linda Stoltzfoos. The City of Philadelphia has issued the closure of the homeless encampment located near 22nd and Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The camp must be closed and cleaned out by next Friday, July 17. The camp first appeared last month as a protest over low income housing and homeless services. They were also protesting police brutality and other BLM causes. The National Weather Service has issued Tropical Storm Warnings for the New Jersey coast and Flood Watches inland starting early Friday morning and lasting until Friday night. Tropical Storm Fay has developed off the coast of North Carolina and is moving slowly north. Forecasters are calling for winds between 35-45 mph with gusts over 50 mph. New Jersey and New York have both added Delaware to the list of states requiring a 14-day self-quarantine for arriving travelers. The Philadelphia Phillies have released their schedule for the 2020 60-game abbreviated schedule. Opening Day is July 24 with a home series vs the Miami Marlins.
