Jay Z's Budweiser Made in America Festival will be returning to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway once again for it's 4th year this Labor Day Weekend. The show was announced on the festival's website and Facebook page on Tuesday evening. The dates for this year's shows are Saturday and Sunday, September 5th and 6th. Former City Councilman Jim Kenney has won the Democratic nomination for Mayor in a landslide victory over a field of 6 candidates. State Senator Anthony Hardy Williams came in second with former District Attorney Lynne Abraham in a distant third. Nelson Diaz, Doug Oliver, and Milton Street rounded out the field. Philadelphia Police are looking for a man who stole a customer's cell phone from a South Philadelphia Target store while carrying a baby. It happened around 6:40 p.m. on May 3rd at the store on Mifflin Street in South Philly. The victim was standing at a counter listening to headphones on display and placed her phone on the counter. Saturday night at Seattle's Neptune Theater, Guns N' Roses' Duff McKagan joined Nirvana's Krist Novoselic to talk about Novoselic's new book How To Be A Man (and other illusions). Following the discussion, the duo was introduced by Pearl Jam's Mike McCready. McKagen pickup his bass and Novoselic strapped on an accordion. Amtrak and SEPTA both announced that service will resume again following last Tuesday's crash of Amtrak 188 in Port Richmond that killed 8 and injured over 200. Amtrak crews have been working around the clock to restore service to the Northeast Corridor line between Philadelphia and New York. A driver is dead after he crashed his pickup truck into Lower Moreland High School on Saturday afternoon. It happened just before 2 p.m. on the 500 block of Red Lion Road in Lower Moreland. Witnesses saw the truck speeding across the parking lot, without any breaking or slowing down, and plow right through the side of the building. The NTSB interviewed the engineer and two assistant conductors on Friday following Tuesday's Amtrak 188 derailment in Philadelphia. At a 5:30 press conference, National Transportation Safety Board member Robert Sumwalt relayed what those Amtrak crew members told investigators. The engineer, Brandon Bostian, said that before the wreck he did not feel fatigued or ill before the wreck and the train did not have any operational problems.
