25-year-old Folcroft Police Officer Christopher Dorman is recovering well at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in West Philadelphia after being shot 7 times on Friday. In a video released on Saturday he thanked everyone for supporting him. "I'd like to thank all the police, paramedics and doctors, and hey Kenny, don't forget me," he said. Four suspects are now in custody after a police officer was shot multiple times while conducting a drug investigation in Delaware County on Friday morning. It happened around 10 a.m. behind an apartment complex on Baltimore Avenue near Elmwood Avenue in Folcroft. 25-year-old Officer Christopher Dorman was investigating reports of drug activity. New Jersey lawmakers on Thursday passed legislation that would raise the state's minimum wage to $10.10 in the next year and to at least $15 over the next five years. The legislation now goes to Republican Gov. Chris Christie, who has been critical of the proposal and said it would cost businesses and residents in the form of higher costs. Philadelphia Police are searching for two juvenile suspects wanted for tormenting a homeless man by throwing rocks at him. It happened around 10 p.m. on May 29th at the TD Bank on the 2600 block of South 5th Street. The 42-year-old was seeking shelter from the rain in the vestibule of the ATM when the two male suspects opened the glass door and began to pelt him with rocks and ram him with a shopping cart. A brush fire burning in and around Browns Mills, Burlington County in South Jersey, is about 25 percent contained and some roads in the area are closed. The fire started Wednesday afternoon. Crews worked through the night, fighting it both on the ground and from the air. There are about 100 firefighters on the ground. A mobile home had to be evacuated. The Chester County Health Department has been notified of the county's first confirmed case of Zika Virus by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This case involves a Chester County woman who is not pregnant. She had recently traveled to an area affected by mosquitoes carrying the Zika Virus. The woman was not hospitalized and has recovered, according to the Chester County Health Department.
