The US Supreme Court said it would not review an appeal of a Pennsylvania state Supreme Court decision on an accelerated schedule before Election Day. Pennsylvania Republicans requested the court reconsider the decision that allows mail-in and absentee ballots to be counted if they are postmarked by November 3 and received by Friday, November 6 at 5 p.m. The U.S. Supreme Court had previously ruled 4-4 on October 19. Philadelphia has announced a citywide curfew starting tonight, Wednesday October 28 at 9 p.m. until Thursday October 29 6 a.m. The National Guard has been called in to protect property, prevent looting, and assist police in maintaining order. A Delaware County pastor has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a teenage girl. 70-year-old Edward Lilly of Boothwyn was the pastor of the Christian Church of Chester and faces 22 counts. He first met the victim in 2017 when she was 16 and worked at a super market he frequented. He started grooming the girl by flirting and giving her gifts and cash. A teenager who was found shot at a state park in Bucks County over the weekend has died from his injuries. On Monday, 10/26, family confirmed that 18-year-old Jason Kutt succumbed to his injuries. It happened around 5:15 p.m. Saturday, 10/24, near the Old Ridge Road entrance to Nockamixon State Park near Quakertown.
