The uncle of a boy who was shot in the back of the head while walking home from school in the Frankford section on Wednesday afternoon, 11/6, has been charged after firing shots back at the gunman. 22-year-old Ernest Richardson was walking with 10-year-old Semaj O'Branty when they were fired upon from a gunman in a red Pontiac G6. A 14-year-old girl is in police custody in connection to the murder of a 60-year-old man in Philadelphia's Rhawnhurst neighborhood early Monday morning, 10/4. No charges have been filed yet. Al Chernoff was discovered dead in his bedroom around 3 a.m. on the 8000 block of Algon Avenue. He was tied to the bed and had a large wound to his head with slashes on his chest. Doylestown Police responded to reports of a shooting in the Belmont Square neighborhood late Thursday afternoon, 11/7. It happened near the intersection of Court Street and East Streets. An active shooter was found barricaded inside a house and firing shots. A special response team and SWAT were called to the situation. A 19-year-old woman was critically injured when her vehicle slammed into the back of a parked school bus and became wedged underneath as part of a multi-vehicle accident in West Philadelphia on Tuesday morning, 11/5. A Chester County woman has been arrested after faking a cancer diagnosis and then fraudulently collecting online donations. 31-year-old Jessica Ann Smith of Chester Springs claimed that she had colon cancer and was getting treatment at Penn Medicine. Philadelphia Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck who attempted to lure a young girl in Northeast Philadelphia on Friday, 11/1. It happened around 6 p.m. on the 3500 block of Teton Road. Police say the man approached the girl saying, 'Give me a kiss', 'where is your mother?' and 'Let's Go.'
