Philadelphia police have arrested and charged a man in the shooting of a 4-year-old boy on Saturday night, 3/7. 23-year-old Jerrod Miner is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and weapons charges. It happened around 8 p.m. on the 5500 block of North 4th Street in the city's Olney section. Miner was inside the home playing around a group of children when he brought out a gun. Montgomery County officials announced two new coronavirus cases. These two new presumptive positive COVID-19 cases are from the same household in Lower Merion Township. They are being treated for mild symptoms and are in isolation at home. This brings the total in PA to 6. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed an emergency disaster declaration on Friday, 3/6, in response to any impending coronavirus outbreak in the state. The warning period for being caught on camera speeding through work zones on Pennsylvania highways is now over. Starting Wednesday, 3/4, drivers can be fined when caught driving 11 mph over the posted work zone speed limit in an active zone. The first violation will merit a warning.
