A store employee shot and killed a robber inside a MetroPCS store in Southwest Philadelphia on Monday afternoon, 8/26. It happened around 4 p.m. on the 7000 block of Elmwood Avenue near 70th Street. Surveillance footage from inside the store shows what happened. The suspect, a man in his 30s, walks in brandishing a firearm and throws a bag on the counter. As the Grammy-nominated artist was being escorted through one of the department stores by his security team he was approached by 21-year-old Raheel Ahmad. A 13-year-old boy drowned early Wednesday morning, 8/21, after he and three friends snuck into a Delaware County swim club to go 'pool hopping.' Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect wanted in a deadly double stabbing in the Brewerytown neighborhood on Monday night, 8/19, that was the result of an argument over social media.
