Sylvester Stallone won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his work in the latest of the Rocky franchise, Creed. Stallone received a standing ovation from the crowd as he made his way to the podium. This was the first time since the original movie in 1976 that he has been nominated for a Golden Globe. The suspect who ambushed and shot a Philadelphia police officer on Thursday night was arraigned in court on Saturday. 30-year-old Edward Archer of Yeadon was charged with eight charges including attempted murder, aggravated assault and assault of a law enforcement officer. 33-year-old Philadelphia Police officer Jesse Hartnett was shot 3 times in the left arm while sitting in his patrol car at 60th and Spruce Street in West Philadelphia around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night. (see video below) 30-year-old Edward Archer of Yeadon ambushed the officer, firing 11 shots from a 9mm hand gun up to point blank range.
