Authorities have identified the off-duty Darby police officer who was shot and killed in his Glenolden home on Saturday afternoon. 26-year-old Darby Borough Officer Mark Hudson was found shot in the chest in an upstairs bedroom in the house on the 600 block of Magnolia Avenue around 4:30 pm Saturday. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where he died. His girlfriend was in the house at the time and was taken into custody for questioning. There have not been any charges filed as of... A Philadelphia Police officer is under arrest have showing up at the station early Saturday morning drunk, driving a damaged patrol car, and fighting with a supervisor after being confronted. 26-year-old Officer Darryl Cathey arrived at the 12th district headquarters on the 6500 Woodland Avenue around 12:20 a.m. Saturday morning in a marked patrol car with three flat tires and bent rims. Prosecutors in Somerset County, NJ, have issued their final report surrounding the mysterious deaths of a high-profile hospital CEO and his wife last fall. They have ruled that 72-year-old John Sheridan Jr. stabbed his wife of 47 years, 69-year-old Joyce Sheridan, before setting their bedroom on fire and committing suicide. Upper Darby police are asking for the public's help in finding a 25-year-old Drexel Hill woman that has been missing since last June. Amanda De Guio has not been seen since June 7th, 2014 when she left her home. Since then the family has not had any contact with her, no phone calls, and there hasn't been any activity on her credit cards. Yesterday's crash of Germanwings Flight 9525 in a remote area of the southern French Alps killed 150 passengers and crew. Two of the passengers have been identified as Americans Emily Selke and her mother Yvonne Selke. A third American has not been identified. Emily was a recent graduate of Drexel University and a member of Gamma Sigma Sigma sorority. She was a music industry major and graduated in 2013. They lived in Nokesville, Virginia. A school bus slammed straight through the front of a home in Blue Bell, Montgomery County, this morning. It happened around 7:45 am on the 100 block of Windermere Drive. The bus was carrying nine students from St. Helena Elementary School at the time. They escaped out the back emergency exit. A couple and their 2nd grader were at home. Upper Merion police believe that a body found Sunday afternoon is that of a woman missing since last month. 37-year-old Heather Tillette went missing on Thursday, February 26th. She was last seen walking out of Einstein Medical Center on the 500 block of Germantown Pike in East Norriton Township after missing an appointment for treatment.
