An apartment fire this morning in Lansdowne has left one woman dead and 30 residents displaced. The fire alarms went off at around 5 am when a fire broke out in a third floor apartment in the building at 32 Wycombe Avenue in Lansdowne. Some residents thought it might have been a drill and others slept through the alarms, until Lansdowne police officers began knocking on doors getting everyone out of the building. Rapper French Montana and entourage spent most of last night being questioned by Philadelphia police after a shooting outside their tour bus left 1 dead and 1 injured. However, investigators don't believe that the Moroccan born, Bad Boy Records recording artist was targeted or involved in the incident. An alleged drug dealer who taunted law enforcement on social media to catch him, calling himself the "gingerbread man" (like the nursery rhyme), has been arrested. Authorities in Bucks County have released a new surveillance video in connection to the home invasion and murder of Joseph Canazaro in Hill Township last month. A New Jersey grand jury has refused to indict the woman known as "tanning mom" who was accused of endangering her daughter after she allegedly brought her to a tanning salon. 44-year-old Patricia Krentcil of Nutley, NJ was arrested last April for violating the state law banning use of tanning salons for children under 14. The verdict is in for former Philadelphia Police lieutenant Highway Patrolman Jonathan Josey. Judge Patrick Dugan handed down a verdict of not guilty for the sole charge of simple assault in the non-jury bench trial. Josey was accused of punching 39-year-old Aida Guzman in the face at 5th and Lehigh during celebrations after the Puerto Rican Day Parade on September 30th.
