Thursday, March 26, would have been Opening Day across Major League Baseball. The Phillies were scheduled to start the season on the road down in Florida against the Miami Marlins. The Home Opener was not set until next Thursday, April 2, against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia announced on Wednesday, 3/25, that the suspension of the celebration of all public Masses in the Archdiocese will continue until further notice and at least through Easter Sunday, 4/12.
