Two people are now in custody for the beating death of a woman inside her home in Fishtown. Police went to check on 64-year-old Kathy Wilson on the 1300 block of Earl Street Monday morning after a woman walked in the 26th District and told police she may be dead. Officers entered through the second floor bedroom. They found all the gas burners on. Wilson was on the first floor couch, brutally beaten, with her hair torn out. A man and a woman have been arrested for impersonating police in South Philadelphia. 48-year-old Terrance Jacobus and 28-year-old Kelli Rowan are charged with Impersonating, Robbery, Criminal Conspiracy, Theft and related offenses. At 11:00 am local time, authorities responded to the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, CA for the reports of a shooting. Witnesses say that three heavily armed and vested shooters entered the building and opened fire. 14 people are dead and 17 injured were taken to area hospitals. A Philadelphia Police officer has been arrested and charged with assault after a domestic incident on Thanksgiving in Bensalem, Bucks County. 48-year-old Officer Joseph Sees was taken into custody last Thursday by Bensalem Police. A mural was dedicated today that commemorates Pope Francis' visit to Philadelphia for the World Meeting of Families back in September. The work is titled The Sacred Now: Faith and Family in the 21st Century and was designed by City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program muralist Cesar Viveros. The mural was painted by more than 2,700 individuals from 100 different countries working on 153 different panels. Pope Francis himself contributed to the work and signed his name to one panel....
