Philadelphia Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the shooting death of a 14-year-old boy earlier this week. Dimitrius Brown of Logan has been charged with murder, conspiracy and firearm violations in the fatal shooting of Duval DeShields of South Philadelphia. It happened on Monday, October 12th around 8:40 p.m. on the 1200 block of North 10th Street. Authorities say the two teens got into an argument which ended with gunfire. Two Bucks County men have pled guilty in the beating of a gay couple in Center City last September and avoided jail time. 24-year-old Philip Williams pled guilty to aggravated assault and conspiracy and received 5 years probation. 26-year-old Kevin Harrigan pled guilty to simple assault and conspiracy and received 3 years probation. Autopsy results for 3-year-old Brendan Link Creato were inconclusive. The Camden County Prosecutor's office said that the medical examiner was not able to determine a cause of death at this point. Brendan was reported missing Tuesday morning at 6 a.m. from his father's Haddon Township apartment. His father can be heard telling 911 dispatchers, "I just woke up and my three-year-old is missing." The boy was reported missing from the 100 block of Cooper Street around 6 a.m. by a family member. Philadelphia Police have made an arrest today in the robbery and murder of a transgender woman last week in the Hunting Park neighborhood of North Philadelphia. 24-year-old Pedro Redding of Hunting Park has been charged with murder, robbery, and related offenses. A man died Sunday afternoon in Burlington County, New Jersey after the lawn mower he was riding caught fire. It happened around 2:30 p.m. on the 2220 block of Saylors Road in Jobstown, Springfield Township. The mower somehow caught fire while the 79-year-old Roger Lippincott was riding it. He was killed by flames and smoke trying to put it out. Police are investigating the cause of the fire. Lippincott, retired, was a longtime member of the Springfield Township Fire Company.

A 55-year-old man from Florida was arraigned on Saturday in the rape and murder of a 14-year-old Bensalem girl from 31 years ago. George Shaw Jr. was charged with homicide, rape, rape of an unconscious victim, and possession of an instrument of crime for the August 1984 Bucks County crime against Barbara Rowan. Over 60 people at a Mercer County, New Jersey company received a medical alert after it was a learned that a nurse had reused the same syringe when administering flu shots to employees. 67 employees were given the shots at the Otsuka Pharmaceutical offices on the 500 block of Carnegie Center in West Windsor, NJ.
