The Philadelphia Music Alliance announced seven new inductees to the Walk of Fame along the Avenue of the Arts. They include jazz legend Billy Holiday, hip hop band The Roots, 80's glam rockers Cinderella, disco/soul group The Trammps, Broadway star Andrea McArdle, Asleep at the Wheel's Ray Benson, and DJ Harvey Holiday. There will be a formal ceremony and the plaques installed in the sidewalk on October 26th.

There is now a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a man wanted for the sexual assault of a woman inside her Point Breeze home early Monday morning. It happened around 5:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of Rosewood Street. Surveillance videos show the man entering the victims home and then leaving and driving her car a few blocks away. The Rolling Stones are set to release a deluxe reissue of 1971's Sticky Fingers. This release will include some unleased tracks, extended versions, and alternate takes. Actor Comedian Tracy Morgan has reached a settlement with Walmart almost a year following the deadly crash on the New Jersey Turnpike that killed one and seriously injured Morgan and others. The accident happened on the northbound turnpike on June 7th, 2014 when a Walmart truck driven by Kevin Roper slammed into the back of a nearly stationary limo bus with Morgan and friends. The lineup for this year's 4th of July Jam on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway as part of the Wawa Welcome America Celebration has been announced. Mayor Michael Nutter made the announcement on Tuesday morning at the African American Museum in Center City Philadelphia. The Roots will be back again to headline and act as house band for the show. A Northeast Philadelphia man plead guilty today to strangling his wife near Pennypark Park last summer. 49-year-old Christopher Murray plead guilty to 3rd-degree murder in the death of 46-year-old Connie Murray. South Jersey police have made an arrest in Saturday's bank robbery at a PNC branch in Gloucester Township. Tipsters helped identify 37-year-old Timothy J. Givens of Sicklerville from surveillance video released to the media. Givens robbed the bank on the 900 block of Black Horse Pike on Saturday morning of an undisclosed amount of cash.
