DOVER, DE (Dec. 5, 2016) - Firefly Music Festival, the east coast's largest music and camping festival, announced today an expansion of fan engagement and interaction. Explosions at a PECO substation in Center City caused massive amounts of fire suppressant foam to leak from the building and cover an entire block. Police received several 911 calls around 1 p.m. reporting explosions coming from inside the PECO Waverly Sub Station on the 400 block of South Juniper Street near Lombard. The Wilmington Fire Department has announced funeral arrangements for fallen Senior Firefighter Ardythe Hope. A public viewing will be held on December 10th from 10 a.m. to Noon, with a full firefighter funeral at 1 pm. The family will hold a reception after the service. The mother of a 2-year-old boy whose death has been ruled a homicide has been arrested and charged in the case. 23-year-old Andrea Worrell has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and obstructing justice. Police responded to the 600 block of E. Philadelphia officials have released new information in connection with the Rittenhouse Square mail bombing last month. Police showed photos taken from surveillance footage of a person-of-interest who dropped off the explosive package. On November 22nd, 62-year-old Jim Alden opened the package in his kitchen on the 1800 block of Pine Street in Center City and triggered the explosion. Officials have identified the man arrested yesterday in connection with the deadly hit-and-run accident in Overbrook last week. 24-year-old Paul Woodlyn has been charged with homicide by vehicle, accident by death, and involuntary manslaughter. The reward is now $25,000 in the hit-and-run death of an Overbrook girl last week. 8-year-old Jayanna Powell was stuck and killed on November 18th while crossing the street with her two siblings at 63rd and Lansdowne Ave. The driver did not stop.
