The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that rookie QB Carson Wentz will be the starting quarterback Week 1 vs. the Cleveland Browns. The Number 2 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, missed the final three preseason games after injuring his ribs in the opener. Post-Tropical Cyclone Hermine has tracked further east than expected, reducing some of the threats to our region. The storm still could intensify and move back west but not enough to cause significant impact. The rain from this system will stay well off shore. Tropical Storm (Post Tropical Cyclone) Hermine continues to make its way up the coast. There are Tropical Storm warnings for Delaware and New Jersey coastal areas as they are expected to take the brunt of the storm. The Philadelphia Eagles have traded starting quarterback Sam Bradford to the Minnesota Vikings for a first-round pick in 2017 and an additional pick in 2018. Bradford was acquired by the Eagles in a trade two years ago that sent Nick Foles to the St. Louis Rams.

Tropical Storm Hermine has been upgraded to a Hurricane by the National Weather Service with maximum sustained winds now exceeding 75mph. It will make landfall on Florida's Gulf Coast tonight or tomorrow morning as it continues to head northeast.
