The Phillies looked to have squashed division rivals, the Atlanta Braves, with a three game sweep pushing them 10 1/2 games back in the standings. It was the first series sweep suffered by the Braves since the Phillies did it to them last September. The singer's autopsy, which was conducted today, came back with inconclusive results from the medical examiner's office in London. Toxicology results will not be available for 2-4 weeks. Officials read a short statement with the details and stated the matter will be officially revisited in October, however it will probably be opened sooner as results are available.

Sunday's Phillies game had been moved to Saturday afternoon due to the threat of Hurricane Irene. It was to be played as Game 1 of a Day-Night double header. Now it will be the only game tomorrow.
Saturday's orginally scheduled night game has been postponed to Sept 15th, time yet to be determined, because of the increasing threat of weather tomorrow night.
