Philadelphia police have identified the body of the woman found dead and stuffed inside a duffel bag in North Philadelphia early Monday morning. 23-year-old Laura Araujo's cause of death has been listed as homicide by blunt force trauma and strangulation. Her hands and feet had been bound, and her body was put inside a plastic bag, wrapped in a blanket and stuffed in the duffel bag. Philadelphia police are investigating the discovery of a body of a women found inside a duffel bag early this morning in North Philadelphia. A man who was trash picking found the body on the 2200 block of N. 3rd Street between Susquehanna Avenue and Dauphin Street at around 5:30 a.m. in a lot next to an abandoned building. Drummer Tommy Ramone, the last surviving original member of New York punk back The Ramones, has passed away at age 65. The band announced the news via their Twitter account early Saturday morning. He was the last living of the four original members. Joey, Johnny, Dee Dee, and Tommy founded the iconic band in 1974.

A Camden, NJ, man was found guilty today of all charges in the 2012 rape of a 12-year-old girl and murder of her younger brother. It happened on September 12th, 2012 when the then 31-year-old Osvaldo Rivera broke into the home on Ware Street. The 12-year-old was on the couch. He slashed her throat as he raped her. A pharmaceutical deliveryman was shot this morning while making a delivery in North Philadelphia. It happened around 10:30 a.m. on the 2300 block of Ridge Avenue outside of the Wellness Pharmacy. The man was delivering a supply of prescriptions when he was approached by a gunman on the sidewalk and shot once in the index finger. He was rushed to Hahnemann Hospital and is in stable condition. Police in Upper Darby have arrested a man they say has been sneaking into women's bedrooms at night while they were sleeping then stood over and watched them. The suspect has been identified as 21-year-old Tyrell Booker of Yeadon, PA. So far he has been charged for one incident, but authorities believe he is responsible for the other 5 incidents reported. Several houses in Philadelphia's Cobbs Creek neighborhood have collapsed today. It happened just before 12 noon near 60th and Spruce Streets. The roofs of two homes collapsed, crushing the second floors and weighing down on the first buckling the porches out over the front steps. Neighboring homes also sustained damage. The tour buses of two popular classic rock bands were damaged in a fire this afternoon at a parking facility in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. The fire broke out at a bus parking lot at 2nd and Callowhill St. around 12:20pm Wednesday afternoon. The bus belonging to rock band Styx caught fire and the rear was engulfed in flames.
