Police have identified a suspect wanted in connection with an arson last week in West Philadelphia. Authorities are looking for 43-year-old Shawn King of the 5700 block of Arch Street. A fire and explosion happened last Wednesday, December 17th, around 2:30 a.m. on the 5400 block of West Girard Avenue. The two occupants of the house were trapped on the roof when firefighters arrived. They were rescued unharmed. That house and two adjoining ones sustained damage. Anyone with information... Police are asking the public's help in identifying a man who was hospitalized last week after a choking accident. The elderly man was admitted to Temple University Hospital on December 12th around 6:00 pm. He had been choking on some food and was unconscious. The man has not regained consciousness since and neither police nor hospital staff have been able to identify him. See photos of him below. A peaceful rally in support of Philadelphia Police is planned for tonight at 7 p.m. in the Mayfair section of Northeast Philly at Frankford and Cottman avenues. Philadelphia Police are searching for two thieves who stole a package from the front step of a home in Northeast Philadelphia earlier this month. It happened around 2:30 p.m. on December 1st on the 1900 block of Tustin Street in the city's Rhawnhurst section. After an autopsy, the Montgomery County Coroner's Office said today that they have not yet determined a cause of death for Bradley Stone, the man responsible for a killing spree that killed 6 and injured 1. Dr. Walter Hoffman said that despite what District Attorney Risa Ferman announced on Tuesday, Stone did not die of self-inflicted stabbing or cutting wounds. The body of a man was discovered in the woods a couple of hundred yards from the Montgomery County shooting spree suspect's home in Pennsburg, PA, around 2:00 p.m. this afternoon.
