A driver struck a Philadelphia Fire Department truck in Center City Sunday evening knocking down a street light. According to officials, the incident occurred at 7:01 p.m. on 23rd and Market Streets. Ladder 9 was responding to a call when they were T-boned by a 2016 Porsche SUV driven by a 35-year-old white female. A seven foot shark was beached by a 13 year old fisherman at the Jersey shore this week. Joseph Mandile and his son Gianni Mandile, 13, were surf fishing on Long Beach Island, New Jersey when the Gianni hooked what he first thought was a stingray. It turned out to be a 200 lb. sand tiger shark. According to National Geographic, sand tiger sharks are not very aggressive toward people. The Mandiles did not keep the shark. Philadelphia has removed Mississippi's state flag from a lamppost after a group of about 50 protesters sat in a roadway while marching down Philadelphia's Broad Street ahead of the Democratic convention.
