Philadelphia police are looking for a father and daughter who went missing on Monday. Thirty-five year old Akram Freikha, left his home on Moore Street in South Philadelphia to take his five year old daughter, Evelina to school. She never got dropped off and he never came home to take his wife to work. According to authorities, there's no custody order, no martial issues, and no mental concerns. Lawyers in New Jersey are back in court today arguing to legalize sports gambling in the Garden State. The two and a half year battle involves the four professional sports leagues - NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB plus the NCAA. Right now, the only state that allows sports gambling is Nevada.

Villanova is a number one seed in the NCAA Tournament. The team and fans celebrated at a selection party on campus last night when it was announced that Villanova was seeded first in the East region. The Wildcats will begin their tournament journey on Thursday against Lafayette in Pittsburgh. Temple was snubbed by the selection committee and the Owls instead will play as a #1 seed in the NIT.

Two officers were shot in front of the Ferguson, Missouri Police Department early this morning as demonstrators gathered after the resignation of the city's police chief in the wake of a scathing Justice Department report alleging bias in the police department and court. A 32-year-old officer was shot in the face and a 41-year-old officer was shot in the shoulder. Both are hospitalized in serious condition. No word on the shooters.

UPDATE 4 pm: The family has announced that missing Deirdre Magolon has been found safe and sound.
Police are looking for a 20-year-old woman reported missing from Royersford. Deirdre Deanna Magolon was last seen leaving her home on Friday, March 7th around 6:30 pm. It's now been three days since Deirdre's car was found abandoned off 422 east near I-76 in King of Prussia on Friday night. She hasn't been seen or heard from since.

A Camden home partially collapsed with a family still inside overnight. Three adults and a child were inside the home at the time. Fortunately, no one was hurt and they were all able to evacuate the home safely. In 2003 the adjoining row home next door burnt down and was demolished, but the wall was never stabilized. City officials visited the home last week and put a notice on the door, but allowed the family to remain in the dwelling.

Philadelphia police officer Robert Wilson III is being remembered as a "nice young man." Wilson was gunned down while stopping a robbery inside a GameStop on Lehigh Avenue in North Philly. Officer Wilson frequently checked on elderly neighbors and was a family man, father of two boys, 9 and 1. Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey said Wilson was one of the best police officers this city has to offer.

The mother of a 6 year old boy is claiming a teacher roughed up her son at school on Tuesday in West Philadelphia. Mercedes Martinez found scratch marks on the neck of her son, Quadree when she picked him up at school. According to Southwest Detectives, the teacher asked the boy to be quiet, there was a struggle, and at some point the teacher grabbed him.
