A female firefighter was killed while battling a fire in the basement of a home in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane Section. She was the first female firefighter to die in the line of duty in Philadelphia history. She was an 11-year veteran of the Fire Department. She had been battling a fire on the 1600 block of Middleton Street around 3:00 this morning with Engine 64. The man accused of killing his stepdaughter, Jessica Padgett, videotaped himself having sex with her corpse. Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli said the video confirmed what Gregory R. Graf told investigators on the day he was charged: that he wanted to have sex with Padgett, and that he did so after she was dead. This morning at 7:05 a.m. from Cape Canaveral, Florida, NASA successfully launched its new Orion spacecraft (pictured) on a mission that the US space agency hopes will foreshadow the first human expedition to Mars. The unmanned Orion capsule rose into clear skies on a four and a half hour test mission that could have huge implications on a plan that could have manned flights headed to Mars in the next 15 to 20 years. Atlantic City's mayor heads to Trenton in search of help after his city lost jobs and revenues as the casino industry struggles. Mayor Don Guardian is slated to speak to an Assembly committee about the city's future and the gambling industry. A lawsuit by a woman who claims Bill Cosby molested her when she was 15 years old has moved allegations of sexual misconduct against the comedian from the court of public opinion into the courthouse. Judy Huth's lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles accuses Cosby of forcing her to perform a sex act on him with her hand in a bedroom of the Playboy Mansion around 1974. She is the latest woman to accuse the comedian of sex abuse, and is the first one since 2005 to file a lawsuit.

UPDATE 3:50 pm: There is now a $25,000 reward. Jim Townsend, Director of Operations for Kildare's, held a press conference this afternoon adding $10,000 to the reward from the restaurant. He explained that Montgomery was not stumbling drunk when asked to leave and was polite to staff when they walked him out like his mother has been saying. He said that Shane turned left out of the establishment and walked south on Main Street. They are working closely with Police and FBI.

Temperatures were in the 30's yesterday for the 95th annual Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day parade. It is the oldest turkey day parade in the country. Thousands of people lined the Ben Franklin Parkway to take in the floats, singers, dancers and of course, Santa at the end. Then most parties moved indoors to gather with family, enjoy a Thanksgiving feast and watch the Eagles devour the Cowboys.

The oldest Thanksgiving Day parade in the country continued this morning on the Parkway in Philadelphia. Mayor Nutter was on hand as local schools, entertainers and bands entertained families gathered in front of the Art Museum for the annual tradition.

A winter storm warning is in effect across the Delaware Valley until 10 pm, on what is typically the busiest travel day of the year. There are flight delays at PHL, so check with your airlines. Many people took to the roads overnight and early this morning to beat the snow. And that's lightening the traffic load on the roads a bit. The 33 year old mother of three from Northampton, PA is still missing as State Police used helicopters to search for clues. Jessica Padgett (pictured) left work at Duck Duck Goose Day Care Center Friday afternoon to run an errand and never returned. Her car was found in a nearby Dollar General parking lot with her cell phone and personal belongings inside.
