Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will campaign at a Pennsylvania Democratic Party event at West Philadelphia High School tomorrow. She's expected to join supporters and volunteers who will launch voter registration efforts in Philadelphia. At least three people, including a 6 year old boy Mahaj Brown (pictured), were wounded in a shooting last night in East Germantown. A gun battle apparently broke out and some people, including the child who was in a car, were caught in the cross fire. The child is the second 6-year-old wounded by gunfire in Philadelphia this week. Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane returned to the defense table and a former boyfriend who became her top deputy to the witness stand as Kane's perjury case resumed this morning. Government witness Adrian King is in for more cross-examination from Kane's lawyers. He and Kane dated in law school and years later he became her top deputy. A man and a little girl are recovering after they were both shot, about six hours apart and just a half a block away from each other in East Germantown. Police are looking for the gunmen and a possible connection. The six year old girl was seriously injured when she was hit by a stray bullet while playing in front of her home about 7pm Tuesday. Jefferson and Kennedy Health moved closer to consummating their proposed marriage this morning with the signing of an agreement to merge the two health systems. The organizations made the original announcement in January and still require state and regulatory approval. They plan to expand their existing partnerships in cancer care and neurosciences.

Federal and State Authorities conducted a raid of properties owned by Local 98 Union Leader John Dougherty 'Johnny Doc' this morning, as well as the IBEW Union Hall. At the electrician's Union Hall at 17th and Spring Garden Street, FBI agents searched that property and investigators were reportedly also searching Dougherty's home in South Philadelphia, as well as a possible third location. SEPTA plans to return to a regular Regional Rail schedule by October. They are replacing defective parts on 120 Silverliner V rail cars, about a third of its fleet, at the end of this month and plans to return 10 cars to service every week until November 12th. SEPTA expects to have at least 40 rail cars leased from other agencies, though, which should allow it to return to a regular schedule in about two months, before all the Silverliner V cars are repaired. Police are looking for the driver of a sport utility vehicle who they say struck and killed a 27 year old woman, and drove away from the scene in Atlantic County. Galloway Township police say Aubrey Servis was walking in a crosswalk on White Horse Pike at 6th Avenue at about 10pm Monday when she was hit by the SUV. The Little Egg Harbor woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
