Police in Chester are looking for a couple in connection with the murder of a Rite Aid store manager there last night. Just before closing, security cameras captured images of a woman and a man entering the store (pictured). Moments later, patron heard a gunshot and fled the store. Police arrived to find the store manager dead of a single gunshot wound to the head. A $5,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information.

A Cape May County fisherman is hoping someone honest will return several thousand dollars in cash he lost on the Garden State Parkway. Matthew Camp cashed a check for $12,000, put it in his backpack and hopped on his motorcycle. He was planning to buy an engagement ring for his girlfriend. While on the Parkway, the zipper opened and lost the loot on the highway. About $4,000 has been found and returned by highway workers. Tipsters can call 609-296-0503.

The shooting at Washington Navy Yard that killed 13 people, including the gunman is the deadliest at a military base since the Fort Hood rampage in 2009 that left 13 dead and 30 wounded. Originally, there was talk of a second gunman, however by the end of day yesterday, it appeared the shooter, 34 year old Aaron Alexis, a former Navy reservist acted alone. Miss America was crowned Sunday night in Atlantic City and she is Nina Davuluri, Miss New York. Davuluri is the first Indian American to wear the crown. Today she was to visit the scene of the boardwalk fire in Seaside Heights, but the trip was cancelled after learning Governor Christie was sending officials to meet with business owners at the same time.

Yesterday's fire on the Seaside Heights boardwalk spread quickly south to north as strong winds pushed the flames consuming the boardwalk and businesses. The fire was brought under control overnight and stopped spreading when firefighters cut a 20 foot wide gap in the brand new boardwalk, just replaced after Superstorm Sandy.

Giant steel beams from the World Trade Center have been returned home where they were created. The beams resembling huge tuning forks were visible to the world after the terrorist attacks in New York brought down the Twin Towers. They were built by Lukens Steel and yesterday one of 10 of the steel trees was unveiled at the National Iron and Steel Heritage Museum in Coatesville.
