Firefighters in Camden, New Jersey, were shook by an explosion while battling a 3-alarm fire early Wednesday morning, 3/10. Video from the Merchantville Fire Department captures the moment when the third floor suddenly exploded. The fire happened just after midnight on the 3400 block of Cramer Street. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy said that he supports making changes to the state's new marijuana laws that would allow police to contact an underage person's parents the first time they are caught with alcohol, pot, or another drug. The way the law is written now, on a first offense, the underage offender would simply get a written warning and the police are not allowed to contact parents. Philadelphia Police say that a killing of a 15-year-old boy in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday night, 3/9, appears to be a random act of violence. It happened just before 7 p.m. on the 5200 block of Pentridge Stree in the Kingsessing neighborhood. During a news conference on Wednesday, Capt. Police in Gloucester County, New Jersey, are looking for 47-year-old Sean Lannon in connection to a murder. He is wanted for questioning after a 66-year-old man was found dead inside a home on Myrtle Avenue in East Greenwich Township on Monday, 3/8. Police say the two knew each other. Lannon is also wanted by police in New Mexico. The CDC says that vaccinated people can now gather with other vaccinated people indoors without a mask or social distancing. Two people have been indicted for trying to use explosives to rob a Wawa convenience store during the unrest last June following the shooting of George Floyd.
