Stadium-like wraparound LED boards will extend 14 feet above the roofline and should be completed in the next three months.

Air travelers leaving Philly for Chicago or even connecting through Chicago should check with the... Read More

Concert Review/Setlist: The Mastersons and Justin Currie at the Tin Angel 9/22/14

  by: JoeS - Springfield, PA
started: 09/26/14 4:04 pm | updated: 09/26/14 4:04 pm

The Mastersons and Justin Currie appeared at the Tin Angel on Monday Sept. 22 to a sold out crowd. I was there to see and hear The Mastersons, but really enjoyed both acts. I had dinner so I also had a reserved seat 6 feet or so from the stage. The intimate setting, perfect sound system, friendly audience and excellent performances were the ingredients for a... In what may be a silver lining in a very dark cloud over Philadelphia, the attack on the gay couple in Center City has galvanized citizens to change hate crime laws at the state and local levels. Legislators here are introducing a bill that would include sexual orientation as a hate crime which would draw an extra 90 days behind bars and a $2,000 fine.

Two Philadelphia suburbs were included in Money Magazine’s “Best Places to Live” lists. Bensalem and Bryn Mawr both got... Read More
