Punxsutawney Phil emerged from his lair on top of Gobbler's Knob in the tiny town 65 miles northeast of Pittsburgh at 7:25 a.m. Tuesday, 2/2/21, and saw his shadow. A four-alarm blaze broke out on the Ocean City boardwalk on Saturday morning, 1/30. It happened around 7:40 a.m. at Playland's Castaway Cove on the the 1000 block of Boardwalk. Flames and heavy smoke could be seen engulfing the pirate ship atop of the arcade. Hamburger Construction Company and Dairy Queen were also destroyed in the fire.
