The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland has announced the nominees for the 2019 induction class. This year's ballot includes first time nominees Def Leppard, Devo, John Prine, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, and Philly's own Todd Rundgren. Philadelphia Police are investigating after two South Philly locations were vandalized with anti-Columbus Day messages Monday, 10/8. The messages were spray painted on the sidewalk outside the History of Italian Immigration Museum on East Passyunk Avenue around 9:30 a.m. They said "Italian-Americans against racism" and "End Columbus Day." The man accused of killing a model in her Main Line apartment this past summer appeared in court for a preliminary hearing on Friday. 30-year-old Jonathan Harris of Johnstown, PA, is charged with the murder of 36-year-old Christina Kraft in her Ardmore condo on Sibley Ave early in the morning of August 22nd. A Havertown, Delaware County, man has been arrested and charged with raping a 14-year-old old that he met on the Whisper app. 22-year-old Joseph Valiquette is charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, statutory sexual assault, and other charges. The attack happened on April 22nd. Officials revealed that the car explosion last Saturday night, 9/29, in Allentown was intentionally detonated as part of a planned murder-suicide. One person has died and four others were injured in a drive-by shooting outside a Dollar General store in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon, 10/3.
