No Philly Mail-in Count Update Overnight; New Jersey Votes Legalize Pot; Trans DE State Senator Wins

Philadelphia City Commissioner Lisa Deeley told reporters on Tuesday night, 11/3, that election officials have counted and reported around 76,000 mail-in ballots out of 350,000. They will not be reporting anymore results from mail-in ballots until Wednesday morning. They will be working 24 hours a day until all ballots are counted. There are 150 workers working 8 hour shifts at the Pennsylvania Convention Center to process all the ballots. They can process about 10,000 ballots per hour.... Read More

The counting of mail-in and absentee ballots began at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, 11/3, Election Day. Philadelphia's election operations are located at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Voters in Philadelphia requested 425,000 mail-in ballots for the general election and officials estimate they'll get back around 350,000 to process.
