Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill was ordered to spend three months on house arrest for his latest parole violations. Mill, whose real name is Robert Williams, can only leave his house to do community service with organizations that serve adults, not youth. Prosecutors say that he violated parole when he failed to notify and get approval for his travel outside of Philadelphia. Mill attributes this to his erratic concert schedule, while prosecutors believe it is linked to following his... Read More

Snow overnight caused traffic problems and some delayed school openings across the region. Suburbs west of the city got a coating on some roads. East of the city and down to the shore things were more slippery as 2 to 4 inches piled up from the quick hitting overnight storm. It's done pretty much everywhere by noon and the air will be dry through the weekend.

The sexual assault case against actor Bill Cosby is moving forward. And a key battle will be waged over explicit testimony he gave in a deposition more than a decade ago. Montgomery County Judge Steven O'Neill on Wednesday rejected the testimony of a former suburban Philadelphia prosecutor who said he promised Cosby would never be prosecuted. The decision allows the case to move to a preliminary hearing on March 8. Cosby, 78, was arrested in December and charged with drugging and violating... Read More

Bill Cosby was back in Montgomery County court Wednesday. This was the second day of a hearing on a defense motion to throw out charges against Cosby. Judge Steven T. O'Neill ruled at the end of the day that the case should proceed to trial. The basis of the motion comes from a 2005 'promise' from then District Attorney Bruce Castor to Cosby that he would not be prosecuted if he testified in a civil lawsuit brought by the complainant. Castor testified that in his opinion it would not... Read More
