The cold temperatures and icy streets are taking their toll on sanitation crews in Philadelphia as trash pick up has fallen behind schedule. Keith Warren with the Sanitation Department says the winter weather has put trash pick-up about a day behind schedule as the cold isn’t letting trash collectors work at their regular pace. Warren is asking that everybody still puts their trash out at the regular time.

On Monday, the State Attorney's Office in Florida released a statement clearing Eagles safety Nate Allen of any wrongdoing in connection to a charge of indecent exposure following an incident that occurred in Fort Myers on February 16th. According to the State Attorney's Office, a 16-year old female called authorities after witnessing a man expose himself in a pickup truck on the afternoon of February 16th. A police standoff is underway at a gun shop in Tullytown, Bucks County. It all started around 2 a.m. Monday when police got a call for a burglar alarm from Mike's Gun Shop along Levittown Parkway. Police say when officers arrived, they found forced entry through the roof. Negotiators are on the scene trying to make contact with the man. Officials say a cab driver was trapped inside his vehicle and had to be rescued after two cars collided early Friday morning in West Philadelphia. This happened just before 3:30 a.m. at 63rd and Chestnut Streets. The cab driver was trapped for about 20 minutes and had to be cut out from the car. He was taken to Presbyterian Hospital with fractured arms and is in stable condition. The driver of the other vehicle has been arrested on DUI. He reportedly suffered minor injuries from the air... Governor Wolf, who proposed a tax on natural gas drilling last week says he wants the natural gas industry to succeed in the state and denies that he's threatening a ban. Wolf insists he wants a vibrant natural gas industry , and not just for Pennsylvania’s sake. He added he "disagrees" with New York's ban on natural gas drilling.

Detectives are investigating a double stabbing early Wednesday in Philadelphia's Mt. Airy section. Two people were stabbed at Johnson Street and Stenton Avenue around 3am. One of the victims died — the other is in critical condition at Einstein Medical Center. The suspect is a man last seen wearing a black jacket, a thin build, full beard, and seen fleeing the scene in a Buick LeSabre.

The Fort Myers Police department released a statement on Monday night regarding Eagles' safety Nate Allen. Allen, a native of Fort Myers, Florida, was detained by police according to the statement. An investigation involving Allen began around 5:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon. Allen was detained by police and questioned. No details have been released regarding the incident in question.

An explosion rocked a Northwest Philadelphia apartment building overnight after a gas main ruptured in Chestnut Hil. Authorities say there was a blast on the first floor of the two-story building, blowing out the windows. No one was injured, but ten residents were forced from their homes and into the bitter cold for several hours.
