Card data of Supervalu and Albertsons shoppers may be at risk in another hack. In late August or early September, malicious software was installed on networks that process credit and debit card transactions at some of their stores. Albertsons said the malware may have captured data including account numbers, card expiration dates and the names of cardholders at stores in more than a dozen states including Acme Markets in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. A man was found shot dead in an apartment Sunday night in the Germantown section of Philadelphia on the 100 block of Manheim Street. The 52-year-old victim was shot twice – once in the chest and once in the shoulder. He was taken to Temple Hospital where we was pronounced dead about a half hour later. Police say they recovered two guns at the scene and are continuing to investigate.

At least one person was injured after a minivan crashed into a house in New Castle County, Delaware Thursday night. It happened just after 5pm at the 700 block of Darley Road in Claymont. Witnesses saw the vehicle wobbling out of control and then careened off the road and into the house. The house was destroyed with bed and belongings were strewn about. Police say a man has died after he was shot twice in the head in South Philadelphia Wednesday night at the 500 block of Watkins Street. The victim, between the age of 18 and 20, was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead. An investigation is underway.

The PA state Senate has sent a bill to Governor Tom Corbett that will authorize a $2 per pack tax on cigarettes to raise cash for Philadelphia schools. Governor Corbett, said in a statement that he would sign the bill authorizing the cigarette tax for city schools as soon as it reached his desk.

Philadelphia Police say a 15-year-old girl is dead, and a 19-year-old man is in critical condition after both were shot just half a block from Einstein Medical Center in Olney late Monday afternoon. A group of more than 50 teens and young adults were near Broad and Olney, then minutes later police were called about shots being fired in that area. The NFL players' union appealed Ray Rice's indefinite suspension Tuesday night. The NFLPA said that the collective bargaining agreement requires a hearing date be set within 10 days of the appeal notice.
