Pennsylvania State Police say traffic is snarled following a multi-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer in the southbound lanes of the Northeast Extension between the Lansdale and Quakertown exits. Police say the accident happened just before 3 p.m. and two to three vehicles are involved. One victim was medevaced to an area hospital. No word on their condition. Only one lane is getting by.

Philadelphia shoppers have been finding steep surcharges on grocery bills since the sweetened beverage tax kicked in, but Mayor Jim Kenney describes some of it as "gouging" by retailers who want to make customers angry about the tax. Police arrested two more men - a father and son - in the shooting death of Olympic track star Tyson Gay's daughter, Trinity, who authorities say was hit by a stray bullet during a shootout in Lexington, Kentucky. Authorities say a second woman has been charged with allegedly hindering the investigation into the shooting death of 8-year-old Gabrielle Hill-Carter. Authorities announced that Natasha Gerald, 19, of Manor Court in Sicklerville was charged Wednesday.
