Officials say a candle started a fire late Thursday night that damaged a store and an apartment above it in Radnor, Delaware County. This happened around 11:15 p.m. on the 900 block of Conestoga Street. Officials say “Conestoga Frame Shop and Gallery” caught fire after a candle was knocked over in the apartment above the store. Crews placed the fire under control in less than an hour. Everyone was able to get out safely and no injuries were reported.

Officials say one person was taken to the hospital following a house fire overnight in the Ogontz section of Philadelphia. The blaze broke out around 2:15 a.m. at the home on the 1400 block of West Nedro Avenue. Officials say one female was removed from the home. She was taken to Einstein Hospital with smoke inhalation. Crews were able to place the fire, which began in the rear bedroom of the two-story home, under control quickly. There’s no word yet what caused the blaze.

Philadelphia Police are investigating a triple shooting in the city's West Oak Lane section. Police were called to the area of 15th and Kinsdale Street a little before 11:30pm Tuesday on reports of shots fired. Once on scene, they found 3-male victims between the ages of 28 and 38. All 3 were taken to Einstein Hospital for treatment. Police believe the shooter left the scene in a light-colored vehicle heading north on 66th Street.

Two 19-year-old men are dead after separate shootings in Philadelphia. The first victim was gunned down on the 2100 block of North 30th Street. Investigators are not sure if the victim was the intended target, or if he was hit by a stray bullet. Philadelphia police say they are looking for two suspects. In Southwest Philadelphia, another 19-year-old man was shot to death at the Connell Recreation Center. The victim was found on the grass near 65th and Elmwood just after 10pm Monday night. ... A new study shows drivers not only continue to text and drive, but also admit to doing all sorts of other smartphone activities while driving. The new survey from AT&T found motorists are checking social media, surfing the web and video chatting while behind the wheel. Nearly four in ten of those surveyed say they go on social media while driving. Former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden was hospitalized Tuesday night at Walter Reed Medical Center. The office of Vice President Biden did not provide any information about why the 46-year-old is hospitalized. Beau Biden has had health problems in the past. In 2010, he suffered a mild stroke and he underwent surgery at a Texas cancer center in 2013.

SEPTA says service to the North Philadelphia station on the Trenton Regional Rail line is back up and running after being suspended following last week's fatal Amtrak train derailment. Service on the Trenton Rail Line resumed yesterday for the first time since last Tuesday night. For current updates on all routes, head to the system status page on SEPTA’s website.

SEPTA will resume operations on the Trenton Regional Rail Line with the start of the service day on Monday. The announcement Sunday evening followed Amtrak's announcement of restoration of service on the Northeast Corridor effective Monday morning.
