A new cafe has opened up in Brewerytown, but it's not like any other cafe in Philly, it's the city's first cat cafe. Le Cat Cafe is located on West Girard Avenue. The cafe's mission is to help get rescued cat's adopted in the Philly area. Customers can pay to get in to see the cat's, but if they want to adopt one, there is an extra charge.

| Tuesday was a violent night in Philadelphia. Police are investigating the deaths of six people in six separate incidents. These occurred in Southwest Philadelphia, North Philadelphia, West Philadelphia, Strawberry Mansion, Grays Ferry, and East Falls. One of those killed has been identified as 21-year-old Demetrius Pinckney. It happened on the 2300 block of Morris Street in Grays Ferry. Montgomery County Health Officials have announced yesterday that they have a confirmed the first case of Zika virus in the county. Officials say that the person infected is a 55-year old woman who had recently traveled out of country to a place where the Zika virus has been found. They are looking for both men and women above the age of 14 to volunteer. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed an executive order today that raises the minimum wage for some state workers to $10.15, up from $7.25 an hour. The pay raise will effect around 450 state government employees and state contracted workers. The Democrat used his executive power to bypass the GOP-controlled Legislature. Raising the wage above the federal minimum for all workers in Pennsylvania will require legislation and cooperation between the Governor and the Legislature.
