SEPTA's regional rail resumed its regular schedule Monday for all Philadelphia area commuters. The schedule is back on track after three months of running a modified schedule due to more than a third of the rail cars being taken off because of suspension system defects. SEPTA stated that more than 50 of the 120 rail cars that were getting repaired are now back in commission. The schedule change will bring 200 more trips to the 13 regional rail lines.

Police have identified the man who was struck and killed by a car in Gloucester County on Sunday morning. 27-year-old Jacob Dromgoole stepped out of his vehicle onto the westbound lane of Mullica Hill Drive, and was then struck by a driver in a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, as well as a nurse who was near the accident when it happened, but they were unable to revive Dromgoole, he was pronounced dead at the scene. During the deadly shoot out on Wednesday night in West Philadelphia a total of 109 gun shots were fired by nine different officers. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross said that the number of shots fired in the shoot out is of "serious concern." Police shot and killed 32-year-old Christopher Sowell after he had gone on a violent stabbing rampage that left three children and two women injured. They announced today that the Gallery in Center City is now being renovated to become The Fashion Outlets of Philadelphia. Police have identified the suspect who was shot and later died Wednesday night after he stabbed two children in a West Philadelphia home. Philadelphia resident Christopher Sowell had stabbed two children in his West Philly home as well as assaulting his 12-year-old daughter around 7 pm. Philadelphia Police shot a suspect Wednesday night who apparently stabbed two children in West Philadelphia. The incident happened at a home around 7 pm on the 6200 block of Hazel Avenue. The suspect stabbed the children in the house, and then fled the home. Police found the suspect near Cobbs Creek Parkway and Webster Street, and opened fire on him wounding him multiple times, he was then rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. SEPTA announced today that it will start to let riders pay with debit and credit cards for single subway or El rides at new kiosks being put up in stations. Riders will now be able to pay at the kiosks and receive a one-way ticket that can be used on the Broad Street or Market Frankford lines. If riders cannot pay with a debit or credit card, they can still pay with cash at the kiosks and receive change from them as well. The cost of the ticket will be $2.25. SEPTA said they have... Police were called to the Willow Grove Park Mall Tuesday after a man was reportedly spotted with a gun inside of the mall. Police showed up to the mall at 6:30 pm on the 2500 block of West Moreland. Once on the scene, police discovered the gunman report to be false. It turned out just to be a man carrying a cell phone which was mistaken for a gun. With the threat of a gunman, some businesses in the mall were on lockdown for precaution.

Police are now investigating a shooting that happened in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia today. At around 2:30 pm on the 2300 block of North 26th Street a 22-year-old man was shot, once in the stomach and a 27-year-old woman was shot once in the right leg. Both were taken into Temple University Hospital, where the 22-year-old man has been listed in critical condition. So far no arrests have been made.

A vendor was kicked out of a fair in Bloomsburg after visitors of the fair had brought up complaints because he was selling nazi flags. The vendor, Lawrence Betsinger, had a nazi flag displayed outside of his booth. A photo was posted to the fair's Facebook page on Monday displaying the flag outside his booth.
