Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a grenade was found in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia on Tuesday. The grenade was found on a walkway on the 3100 block of Tilton Street at around 2:30 pm. Residents who found the grenade immediately contacted 911 to come help dispose of the explosive. The Philadelphia Bomb Unit arrived on the scene and later determined that the grenade was inactive and posed no threat. Police are now investigating to see who placed the grenade in... Read More

Schuylkill Police say that a toddler has been hospitalized after she consumed methamphetamine at her parent's home in Wayne Township. Police say that the girl found the bag of drugs and consumed it on Sunday morning. After being found, she was transported by helicopter to the hospital. Her 26-year-old father and his 24-year-old girlfriend are being charged with child endangerment. There is still no word on the child's condition.

Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a shooting occurred in the Strawberry Mansion Section of Philadelphia that left one victim dead and another injured. The shooting took place at around 9:40 pm on Sunday on the 2500 block of North Martson Street. Police say that multiple shots were fired in the area, and two people were struck. City Officials are warning Conrail that it is time to improve their location in North Philadelphia. The city has issued citations to Conrail after they have failed to clean up their tracks in West Kensington and Fairhill. Mayor Kenney has stated that the rails are considered "hazardous conditions." Delaware Police are now investigating after two victims were shot and wounded in Wilmington. The shooting took place on the 2900 block of Bowers Street at around 7:30 pm. Police responded to a call of shots fired at the location. When they arrived on the scene they found two males lying on the street with gun shot wounds. Philadelphia Police are now searching for three suspects who are wanted in connection with a home invasion that took place in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. The incident took place on 100 block of West Wildey Street at around 3:15 pm Tuesday. Police stated that the three suspects tied up the residents of the home and robbed the place. Firefighter Linda Long has been promoted as the first female Fire Battalion Chief and Crystal Yates has become the first African-American woman to serve as the Chief of Paramedic Services. Philadelphia Police are investigating after a shooting took place in North Philadelphia. The shooting took place on the 2900 block of North Fairhill Street just before 7 pm on Sunday. Police arrived on the scene and found a man with gun shot wounds to the arm and stomach. The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. Police are still investigating for a potential motive and the suspect wanted for the shooting.

Benson's body was found lying under a hot running shower with blunt and sharp force trauma to the head and neck in the New Orleans Park apartment complex on the 900 block of South Avenue in Secane. Police have now placed a teenager in to custody for vandalizing a synagogue in the Tacony section of Philadelphia. A 13-year-old boy has now been charged with the incident which took place this past Sunday. The teen threw a baseball sized rock through a stained glass window at Temple Menorah Keneseth Chai.
