Philadelphia Police are warning drivers to keep a close eye on their car as car thefts are on the rise in the city. Police say that many suspects are stealing the cars as the car is warming up and the keys are left in the ignition. Around 33% of the car thefts have been due to the keys being left in the ignition. The City of Philadelphia has declared a Snow Emergency starting at 8 am on Wednesday due to the incoming nor'easter. Philadelphia residents will have to move all cars off of designated snow emergency routes so they can be properly plowed. Officials say that city government offices as well as courts will be closed for the day. Philadelphia Police are searching for three suspects after they shot and injured a teen and another woman on Monday. Police say that a 27-year-old woman invited the three suspects into a house on the 2900 block North 5th Street at around 3:15 a.m. on Monday. The victims ,as well as the suspects, began talking and they all began to brag about money, which led to one of the suspects opening fire. Bill Cosby is set to appear in court on Monday for a pretrial hearing for issues connected to his retrial of sexual assault charges in Montgomery County. Cosby's previous trial ended in a deadlocked jury. Prosecutors say that they brought 13 accusers to testify against Cosby, but the judge only allowed 1 to testify. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a shooting occurred in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia that sent a man to the hospital. The shooting took place at the intersection of North 29th and Jefferson Streets at around 4 am on Thursday. Police say that the 50-year-old victim was found with gunshot wounds to the leg and lower back, he was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. The Philadelphia Police Department announced that they are holding a gun buyback program this Friday March 2nd. The program will take place next to the Official Unlimited Store located on North Broad Street at 10 am on Friday. People will be able to come by and surrender their gun. Police are investigating after a man was found with his throat slashed in South Philadelphia. Police found the 27-year-old man in the middle of the 2700 block of South Hutchinson Street in the early morning hours of Tuesday. The man was rushed to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition. Police are still searching for a motive and a suspect for the incident.

Ten animals are now in the care of the Brandywine SPCA after a suspect was taken into custody in connection with dog fighting in Chester County. Police have stated that six dogs and four rabbits were rescued from the home and are now getting the medical attention they needed. 39-year-old Dwayne Molina has been charged with animal cruelty in the case. A former Radnor Township Commissioner, Phillip Ahr, has been indicted for child pornography charges by a federal grand jury. Officials say Ahr turned himself in on Thursday morning after a bench warrant was issued for his arrest. Ahr is accused of downloading and sharing child pornographic images across the internet. 66-year-old Ahr resigned from his spot on the Radnor Township board after he was arrested this past October.
