March Madness is in full swing, and the tournament field is now set with two Big 5 teams securing spots in the bracket. Villanova made it despite their horrific 6 game slide to end their season. Parishes in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will begin to learn the names of the 21 priests put on administrative leave for sexually abusing or behaving improperly with minors. PA Budget - A Tighter Belt

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett has unveiled his new $27.3 billion dollar budget for next year. The taxpayer spending plan is 3.1 percent lower than this year and includes cutting 1500 state employees, and 1.2 billion dollars from education, including public schools and state funded universities. Corbett’s plan calls for no new taxes, and does include support of a school voucher program. The Governor is asking school districts to get voter approval to raise property taxes. His message to...
