Most college sports don't have pro leagues that can even offer the chance at a career or only pay enough to the top few. Basketball is one that does pay very well, and for a lot of talent coming out of college there is very good money to be... Read More |

Phillies, Sixers, Flyers, oh my... Fall fans don't get me wrong, I love Eagles football, and October baseball especially, but you can't beat this April for non-stop Philadelphia sports almost every day/night of the week. This year we have the Phils off to a predicted great start. The young Sixers are headed back to the playoffs lead by coach of the year candidate Doug Collins. Plus, the Flyers won the division and are hoping to go back to the Stanley Cup finals and finish last year's... Read More |

The Flyers have won the Atlantic Division for the first time in seven years, and are the second seed in the East going into the playoffs after today's 7-4 win over the Islanders to close out the season. They'll meet the Buffalo Sabres in the first round starting Thursday.
We should be cheering and anxiously awaiting another great playoff run from the Flyboys like last year's miracle round after round to the Stanley Cup Finals. However, last year was a surprise treat by an... Read More |

Remember the Holy Family college basketball player who made headlines because his coach knocked him over during a practice drill? Well Matthew Kravchuck was arrested at a Phillies game for stealing two beers from a concession stand and now faces felony charges because of his prior offenses.
