Camden has reached an unenviable milestone. A murder record that has stood for 17 years. Already dubbed America’s second most dangerous city, today investigators were on the scene on the 1600 block of Independence Road in the Fairview section looking into the murder of a man there. This murder brings the total in Camden for 2013 to 59. And it’s only November 16th.

A New Jersey woman plead guilty Thursday to using her deceased aunt's identity to obtain access to credit card and deposit accounts, causing three banks to lose more than $30,000. Jocelyn Russo pretended to be her aunt JB and used the woman's Social Security number and other personal identifying information to fraudulently add herself to JB's account at Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase. Stephanie Bongiovi, 19-year-old daughter of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, will not be charged after a reported heroin overdose in her dorm at Hamilton College in upstate New York. Bongiovi was found unresponsive by an ambulance crew sent to the college early Wednesday, after a report that a female had apparently overdosed in the school's largest dorm. Police searched the dorm and found heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Charges were filed today against former Philadelphia Highway Patrolman Jonathan Josey for punching a woman at the Puerto Rican Day festival in September. D.A. Seth Williams reviewed the video and saw that the situation was hectic, but use of force was not necessary. Josey is charged with simple assault.

Radnor Township police have arrested a 76 year old man in an attempted kidnapping plot. John Fedler of Miami Florida dressed as a flower delivery person, tased a man in his Villanova home and was planning to kidnap and hold him for ransom. The victim was able to disconnect the taser cables and Fedler fled. Police have arrested a 76-year-old Miami, FL man in connection with an elaborate kidnap for ransom plot on the Main Line. Three women were arrested following a prostitution bust in Philadelphia's Old City neighborhood Wednesday afternoon. Philadelphia Police say they were acting on a tip on an illegal massage parlor that was being run out of a basement. Authorities say there were allegations that there were underage females working at the parlor who were physically and verbally abused. Jon Bon Jovi's 19 year old daughter, Stephanie Bongiovi, has been hospitalized. She was found in her dorm unresponsive after a heroin overdose. Bongiovi is attending Hamilton College in upstate New York. Investigators are also charging Stephanie Bongiovi and another student with possession of controlled substances. Police are asking Temple University students to be more cautious after a string of off-campus robberies. Police believe the same suspect is connected to the string of robberies. They say he points a gun at his victims' heads, and demands money, phones, and other belongings. At least three robberies, all on Monday, involved Temple student and happened during daylight hours.
