Beach Boys preview their first new single in 20 years; "That's Why God Made the Radio"

The Beach Boys have just unveiled a clip of "That's Why God Made the Radio," the first single off their reunion album. The album of new material is due to hit shelves on June 5th. The group split up in the late 1990s and toured separately. Last year, they put any animosity off to the side and reunited for a tour. Philadelphia Schools Closing, NJ Troopers Suspended for Death Race, PA Primary

The Philadelphia School District is making major budget cuts. Forty schools will be closed by next year. The cuts are part of a 5 year plan to save money and eliminate the underperforming schools.

Two people were injured during an accident involving a police K-9 cruiser and an SUV in Egg Harbor Township last night. After the collision, the K9 cruiser veered off the road and ended up in the woods. This incident remains under police investigation.

Fiona Apple will release her 4th album on June 19th on Epic. It's called "The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do." A man wanted for murder in New York was killed this morning when he jumped in front of a SEPTA train between Jenkintown and Noble stations. The suspect's truck was spotted speeding down Route 309 found abandoned at the Jenkintown Elementary School, triggering a lockdown of the school districts 600 students. It began early this morning outside independent record stores across the area with lines of music lovers waiting for stores to open so they could get their hands on the exclusive and limited releases pressed just for today.
