Woman Found Dead In Bucks County Home, New Regional Rail Schedule, Funeral For NJ State Trooper

Police are now investigating after a woman was found dead in a home in Bucks County Thursday night. The woman has been identified as Rebecca Cope. Police have also identified Cope's 30-year-old son Zachary Cope, as the suspect in her death. Authorities say that Zachary Cope was spotted walking on the 200 block of Taylorsville Road, when he stopped a car and reportedly told the driver he had killed his mother. Officials have now indicted a South Jersey man on charges that he stole thousands of dollars from a youth football league. 49-year-old Michael DiFlorio of Williamstown, New Jersey, has been accused with embezzling more than $56,000. DiFlorio was the former treasurer of the South Jersey Elite Invitational Youth Football League. New Castle County Police have released surveillance video of a vehicle wanted in a hit-and-run accident that severely injured a 12-year-old boy from the Overview Gardens community. The vehicle is believed to be a 2004-2010 red Chrysler 300 with a missing driver side mirror. The passenger side mirror should have yellow-tinted glass and a chrome back. A Philadelphia man was critically injured in a house fire that happened on Wednesday night in Northeast Philadelphia. The fire broke out just after 8 pm on the 1200 block of Cottman Avenue. Fire Crews arrived on the scene and were able to get the fire out in about 10 minutes. A 20-year-old man was taken out of the building and rushed to Einstein Medical Center after he suffered numerous burns to his lower body as well as smoke inhalation. Philadelphia Police have now charged and identified one of the men responsible for shooting and killing a 14-year-old in Mayfair. 19-year-old Samir Price turned himself into police on Tuesday for the murder of 14-year-old Ian Wisley, who was a freshman student at Northeast High. Philadelphia Police are searching for a man and a vehicle used in a purse snatching in South Philly on Sunday afternoon. It happened at 12:30 pm on November 27th in a shopping center parking lot at 330 Oregon Ave. Police have released surveillance video of the incident. You can see the suspect waiting in his car, a late model gray Toyota Highlander SUV. He picks his target and repositions his car for the getaway. James Franklin, the head coach of Penn State's Football, team has now been named Sporting News' Coach of the Year. Franklin is in his third season with the Nitanny Lions, and had started off the season pretty rough losing 2 of the first 4 games. New Jersey Police responded to a call Tuesday night of a pedestrian who was hit on the side of the road in Blackwood, Camden County. The incident happened on the 400 block of South Black Horse Pike at around 6 pm. An elderly man was hit while he was on the shoulder of Black Horse Pike. The nominations for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards were announced today. Beyonce leads everyone with 9 nominations, including Album, Song, and Record of the Year.
