A man was pulled from the Schuylkill River late Saturday morning. The 39-year-old was found floating in the river near the Market Street bridge on the University City side just before 10 am. He was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:59 a.m. His identity has not been released. Police are investigating how the man ended up in the river.

| The Philadelphia Parking Authority will continue to offer their annual free holiday parking throughout the city at meters. The free parking will be available on Saturdays starting after 11 am. The Philadelphia Parking Authority stated they want visitors to take advantage of the free parking, while they can take in the sights, sounds, and food Philly has to offer. Friends and family are gathering at Cape May County Park-South on the 900 block of Shore Road for a vigil at 4 p.m. On November 25, 1991, 11-year-old Mark Himebaugh went missing. | Three people were injured during a shooting that took place in the Juniata section of Philadelphia Thursday morning. The incident happened on the 4000 Block of Howland Street just before 11 am when the three victims were hanging up Christmas lights outside of their home.
