New Castle County Police have released surveillance video of a vehicle wanted in a hit-and-run accident that severely injured a 12-year-old boy from the Overview Gardens community. The vehicle is believed to be a 2004-2010 red Chrysler 300 with a missing driver side mirror. The passenger side mirror should have yellow-tinted glass and a chrome back. The accident happened at 5:40 p.m. Monday. 12-year-old Bryan Richards was crossing Memorial Drive, just off Route 13 in Minquadale, Delaware, when he was hit. He remains in stable condition at A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children with multiple broken bones. There is a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible. Watch the surveillance video below:

Philadelphia City Council has passed legislation today aimed at cracking down on rogue and predatory tow truck drivers. In recent months, some tow truck operators have been exposed removing cars that were parking legally (in other words stealing vehicles) and charging citizens to return them. The new bill clarifies when a car can be towed. A vehicle must be ticketed first, and thus deemed illegally parked, before a towing company can take it. Some independent tow trucks protested the City Council session be blocking traffic outside of City Hall. The new legislation will not take effect until after the holidays.

President-elect Donald Trump will be coming to Pennsylvania next week. He will be holding an event on Thursday, December 15th in Hershey, PA at Giant Arena at 7pm. This is part of his “USA Thank You Tour” in cities across the country. Vice Presidet-elect Mike Pence will also be in attendance. Tickets to the rally are free. You must register in advance. More information is available at https://www.donaldjtrump.com.
