Pennsylvania State Police are now investigating after a body was found along the Schuylkill River in Berks County. The body was found by a group of kayakers on Sunday just before 2 pm near Gibraltar Road in Exeter Township. Police say that the kayakers were searching for a 26-year-old man, Bradley Verret who was last seen in Reading over a month ago. Philadelphia Police are looking for two suspects wanted for the shooting of a 13-year-old boy inside a Chinese takeout in North Philadelphia on Friday night. It happened around 10:30 pm at the Gold Fish restaurant on the 2000 block of West Hunting Park Avenue in Philadelphia's Tioga-Nicetown section. 1 Dead, 4 Injured in Multi-Car Crash in Camden Co.; Delco Woman Fights Off Attacker Outside Home

A multi-car crash in Camden County has left 1 person dead and four others injured. It happened around 6:30 p.m. along White Horse Pike (Rt. 30) near Capitol Avenue in Oaklyn, NJ. Five cars were involved in the accident. Two of the vehicles hit head on. One of the vehicles burst into flames. The injured were taken to Cooper University Hospital. Rt. 30 was shut down in both directions until around 10 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Police were called to the Hatfield Ice Arena in Montgomery County on Thursday night after a fight broke out on the ice and extended into the stands. It happened around 10:20 p.m. at 350 County Line Road in Hatfield Township. It was during the Flyers Cup Class 2A quarterfinal hockey game between Central Bucks West High School and Ridley Ice Hockey. CB West was leading at the time 7-1. The incident was caught on video. 42-year-old Sara Packer was arraigned today in the rape, murder, and dismemberment of her 14-year-old adoptive daughter, Grace Packer, last summer. Packer pled not guilty to charges of homicide, kidnapping, abuse of corpse, conspiracy to commit rape, and other charges. Grace disappeared from her Abington home in July 2016 and was reported missing. Philadelphia Police are now investigating a string of paint ball gun attacks that have taken place in the city. Five people were all targeted and shot by a suspected male in a Dodge/Chrysler Caravan as they walked outside on Tuesday in Roxborough. All five of the incidents took place on the same day, just hours after each other. Two of the five victims were taken to the hospital to treat there injuries. This afternoon at City Hall, Councilman David Oh, the Chair of Council's Committee on Global Opportunities and the Creative/Innovative Economy, introduced the initial 15 members of the city's brand new Music Industry Task Force. Councilman Oh, whose office runs the annual PHL Live competition, introduced the bill that led to the creation of the task force. (see below for the City Council bills.)

Officials from the PA Turnpike Commission and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority announced that the Delaware River Turnpike Bridge will reopen tonight sometime after 10:30 pm. The repair work that has kept the bridge closed since the end of January has been completed about a month earlier than expected.
