| The bodies of two newborn babies were found Sunday morning by a 9-year-old boy who at first thought they were toy dolls. The discovery was made around 10:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of North Palethorp Street in Kensington. Kasime Crawford and his 12-year-old female friend were walking down an alley where they came across the babies near a place where trash had been dumped. Crawford told his father who called police. | Philadelphia Police have announced the arrest of two teens in the murder of a 16-year-old boy who was riding his bike with a friend in Strawberry mansion earlier this month. 17-year-olds Tyrie Johnson and Raheim Feaster have been arrested and charged in the murder of Saleem West. Two one-way streets, Spruce and Callowhill, are becoming two-way streets near Columbus Boulevard starting November 23. It's a project spearheaded by the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation. Authorities say crews are battling a 2-alarm blaze at a Blue River Resources Recycling Company building. The fire was reported around 3 am Thursday morning at the 1000 block of Heald Street in Wilmington, Delaware. Authorities say recycling material caught fire.
The fire was placed under control shortly before 4 am. No injuries have been reported.
