Last night, July 25th, marked the 25th anniversary of the The Legend of Zelda. It was celebrated by the Pittsburgh Symphony and Philadelphia Singer's Chorale, led by Susie Seiter, creating a nostalgic experience of music and cinematic beauty.

Pittsburg Symphony Orchestra has brought "The Legend of Zelda" to life with their orchestra rendition, The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses. It is the first video game themed concert to feature a four movement symphony focusing on the original tracks of the Nintendo composer, Koji Kondo. Along with the compelling music, the orchestra will be featuring a cinematic video presentation, syncing game play to the live music.

Our technology has reached the point that we can stream music, movies and live events no matter where we are. Philadelphia's Curtis Institute has brought that idea to streaming their classical concerts live. Philadelphia Orchestra Musician Pension Fund Opposes New Labor Contract

Details haven't been revealed yet on a new labor contract for Philadelphia Orchestra musicians, but the national pension fund representing 50,000 musicians says it opposes the contract because it ends the association's participation in the pension fund.
