Philadelphia's favorite big green furry bird from the Galapagos might not have much to cheer for this year, but the Phillie Phanatic still warms our hearts. He also has great taste in music and has some cool musical friends. Fellow Philadelphians, Dr. Dog, have written and recorded a new 'anthem' or 'theme song' for the Phanatic, simply called “The Phanatic Song.” It's a summery, upbeat jaunt featuring Dr. Dog's signature harmonies. The band and mascot also filmed a video for the track that will appear on a DVD called The Phillie Phanatic’s One-Man Band based on a book written by the Phanatic's best friend Tom Bergoyne. It will be given out to kids 14 and under at Citizen's Bank Park on September 14th. Take a listen:

The Rolling Stones' Zip Code Tour stopped in Nashville on Wednesday night. Brad Paisley was tapped to open the show. He brought out Carrie Underwood and the Eagles' Joe Walsh to guest during his set. Then during the Stone's set, Paisley sat in during “Dead Flowers.” He has joined the Stones on this song previously in 2013 during a 50 & Counting Tour stop here in Philadelphia. Watch clips of the performances below:

Madonna has released the video for "Bitch, I'm Madonna." The Material Girl has proved at least one thing, and that's she is the master at reinventing herself into whatever she wants. This 56-year-old baby boomer has transformed into a 20-something millenial. She can dance, dress, and talk like she's half her age. The persona is not always done right (like what's up with the grill?), but close enough. The Diplo track is pretty good though. I'd like to see what Madge would do if she acted her age. Her biggest fear is not being relevant anymore, but if she takes her own advice, "Bitch, you're Madonna" she doesn't have to conform.

Anyway, this video is full of celebrity cameos. Nicki Minaj was featured on the song and she appears (sort of). Also getting face time are Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Rita Ora, Chris Rock, Diplo, Alexander Wang, Kanye West.
