The Firefly Music Festival just announced its Camping Schedule for 2017. These up-and-coming acts are scheduled to playing in the North and South Hub areas, just outside the festival grounds, starting Wednesday through Sunday. The Ellen Degeneres Show is coming to Philadelphia on Wednesday March 22nd for a live remote broadcast. The City of Philadelphia advises that Walnut Street from Broad to 17th Street will be closed from 1pm to 8pm, but the main event itself will happen at 4pm on the 1600 block of Walnut. This afternoon at City Hall, Councilman David Oh, the Chair of Council's Committee on Global Opportunities and the Creative/Innovative Economy, introduced the initial 15 members of the city's brand new Music Industry Task Force.
