The 59th Annual Philadelphia Folk Fest is going Virtual due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. The oldest continuously run outdoor music festival in North America will be held entirely online this weekend August 13-16. Passes are available either for the entire weekend or single day tickets. The Philadelphia Public League has suspended all interscholastic athletic competition until January 1, 2021. That includes the entire School District of Philadelphia. The decision was made after Governor Wolf recommended last week that K-12 and recreational sports be postponed until January 1st.
