The Philadelphia Public League has suspended all interscholastic athletic competition until January 1, 2021. That includes the entire School District of Philadelphia. The decision was made after Governor Wolf recommended last week that K-12 and recreational sports be postponed until January 1st. It was another violent weekend in Philadelphia. At least 22 people were shot in over 10 separate shootings across the city between Saturday night and Sunday. Both sides of I-676 have now reopened. Three barges that became wedged under the Vine Street Expressway I-676 bridge across the Schuylkill River have been removed.
