A homicide investigation is underway in the Frankford section of the city where an 18-year-old man was shot in the back and in the right side yesterday. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he later died. The motive in this shooting is not clear at this time. It is not known whether any arrests have been made.

Police in Delaware arrested a burglary suspect with the help of the targeted homeowner on Sunday. Twenty-four-year-old Richard Flemming of York Haven, Pennsylvania was caught allegedly breaking into the Newark home of a 47-year-old man at about 3:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The victim woke up to his dogs barking and discovered Flemming in his home. Flemming fled the home after making his way in through the window, yet the owner chased Flemming and detained him in the roadway until Police arrived. Wayne residents are on the alert for a coyote on the prowl in their Main Line neighborhood. Radnor Code Enforcement says there have been three sightings of the coyote since February. The most recent encounter came last Tuesday. Radnor officials say there have been more than a dozen coyote sighting in Radnor in the last few years.
